The Jewish community is invited to celebrate with Shir Tikvah at our annual Press the Flesh/Sukkot Celebration on Sunday Oct 4th at 10:30am. We will meet at Mt Tabor Park, Shelter A. We’ll build a sukkah, say the blessings and celebrate this year’s harvest of food and Torah, of all that sustains our bodies and souls! Join in the fun of pressing the apples and drinking hot cider!

What to bring: LOTS OF WASHED APPLES for the press, BRANCHES for the roof of the sukkah and a POT LUCK ITEM (no dairy) to share. Shir Tikvah’s Membership & Hospitality Committee will provide hot dogs/veggie dogs. No pets in the picnic or playground area, please. Dress warmly, and please bring canned goods for the Oregon Food Bank!
